Position: Technical Service Engineer , Madico, Inc.
JOB
SUMMARY:
Provide support for sales and customers in product use, performance
and recommendations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (including but not limited
to:)

Works
with customers, sales people and customer service reps, R&D, key
managers via the phone, email, or
face to face.
·
Resolve product application related issues internally
·
Handles Window Film Technical sales calls working with the Technical
Sales Manager
·
Support field and Technical Sales groups and independent
distributors as needed.
·
Support energy analysis and demand analysis programs for Window Film
business
·
Tran
on use of Optics 5; Windows 5; and EFilm Programs
·
Support glass breakage and warranty administration as needed
·
Create
library of solar properties of Madico window films on various glass
types
·
Synchronize specifications library between external databases and
Madico Marketing communications
(website, printed materials, etc.)
·
Support CIP program: Six Sigma; and Voice of the Customer (VOC)
deployment
·
Assists in the fabrication samples for safety film testing
·
Assist
in the development of new training programs and application
instructions
·
Travel
on an “as needed” basis
·
Design
test protocols against architectural and government specifications
for solar control and safety & security films
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- BS in
Chemistry or Engineering OR
- 3-5 years
Window film industry experience
Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience
in adhesives, coating, laminating and finishing desired
