This alert serves to inform the membership that the Missouri State Police are in the       process of increasing enforcement on their window film statutes.  Their goal is to                have a light meter in every Trooper’s car.  To that end the State Police have                purchased more than 700 new tint meters within the last six months.

The IWFA has always encouraged its members to tint legally and continues to do                so.  The IWFA asks that all members take the necessary precautions to inform your                customers of the potential for increased enforcement and always recommend safe,              legal window tinting.

Currently in Missouri the window film statutes provide for a 35% net window tint                   on the front windows and any darkness on the rear windows.  Should problems                 arise, please contact the IWFA Headquarters at (276) 666-4932.
